The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival has announced that the 2021 event has received approval from the Victorian government’s Public Health Advisory Panel, Chief Health Officer and Major Events Taskforce officials to proceed. Approval has been granted under the Public Events Framework to host up to 4,000 patrons and competitors.
General Manager, Jennifer Boardman, said “It has been a very bumpy road but we are still moving forward and are very keen to present a festival that is safe, friendly and entertaining for all.
“However, with the capped numbers of 4,000 it is very unlikely we will be re-opening ticket sales. Anyone who has purchased camping and still does not have wrist bands needs to contact the festival office as soon as possible.
“The only gaps we have is for a few volunteer positions which we are still looking to fill. We sincerely appreciate the continued support from our patrons and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
“Please stay tuned to our Facebook and bush festival webpage and local media for any updates. Any queries should to be emailed to admin@bushfestival.com.au.”
