Fresh Covid case recorded in Towong Shire

There were 5 new COVID-19 cases reported within the Albury Wodonga Health Local Public Health Unit catchment in the 24-hour period up to 8pm on 9 November, 2021.

These include 3 new cases in Wodonga, 1 in Wangaratta and 1 in Towong Shire. The Towong case was confirmed last night and the person is a resident in the Corryong district.

In total, AW LPHU is reporting 265 active COVID-19 cases across its catchment.

The Albury Wodonga Health Community COVID Consult Clinic is currently caring for 288 COVID-positive individuals from across the border region.

There are currently 11 COVID-positive patients in hospital, with 1 in our Intensive Care Unit.
