The Upper Murray was awash today following torrential downpours during the night with more than 50mm of rain falling in the 24 hours to 9am this morning. Many local roads experienced minor flooding which could escalate with further heavy rain forecast into tomorrow. Police are warning motorists to take extreme care and only travel if it is necessary.
