The Alpine Way between Khancoban and Thredbo is closed to traffic because of heavy overnight snowfalls which have brought trees down and caused hazardous driving conditions. It is expected that the road will remain closed for the remainder of today while crews undertake clearing work. A further update will be available tomorrow morning.
