Matches went as expected in local football on the weekend but Tumbarumba's mammoth score against a 14-man Corryong team came out of the blue. The main destroyer was Roos' spearhead Daniel Hitchens who booted 13 goals on his return to the side after several weeks absence. An undermanned Cudgewa outfit posted a comfortable victory over a wayward Federals with Nick Brockley kicking five goals to retain his position at the top of the Corryong Courier goalkicking award.
