The club’s three pennant teams had very important matches last week.

On Tuesday the midweek team went to Wodonga to play the 1st semi-final against Chiltern.

It was very close all through the match on all three greens.

Two rinks were finished, with a win and a loss, leaving Corryong with a lead of eight shots.

On the third rink Chiltern led by eight shots so it all depended on their last end.

On the last shot of the match the Chiltern skip failed to dislodge our shot bowl, so Corryong won by one shot! On Tuesday Corryong played Beechworth in the preliminary final at Wodonga, winning on all three rinks 79-48.

Corryong now takes on Kiewa in the grand final next week.
